In
June 1998 entrepreneur Mr Alfred Wright had the idea to bring three
tenors together for a one-off concert
at King George's Hall, Blackburn.
As
it was the year of the World Cup,
he thought it would be a fitting grand
finale to the town's celebrations.
So, he asked three tenors of whom he knew, Geoffrey
Coles, James Fitzgerald and Morgan
Lee James, who had not met previously. Upon meeting and working together
an immediate bond was formed, and from the inspiration of this success,
Tenorissimo was born.
